Time to get serious about Vail

There has been a lot of heated discussion on both sides of the Incorporation issue. What I intend to do is share what I have found in my research to help others stay informed about this community that we all love.

To start, I want to say that initially I was all for incorporation. On the heels of the H2K PAD annexation, the idea of independent government sounded great. So, my husband and I began getting involved. We sat in on the town hall meetings for the H2k developments, we attended the Incorporate Vail meetings.

Then, we started hearing IVA speak about things using fear as a motivator. Specifically, the term 'Stop the annexation!'. So, we looked it up. Annexation of unincorporated Vail property would require 50% of property owners to sign in agreement. During the Town Hall meeting on 8/29/23, this was confirmed by the IVA team.
